We have been working hard behind the scenes and are excited to announce that we are back this year with a new exciting line up as part of our Faith in the Arts programme in partnership with the John Rylands Library.
We are kicking things off with our first session exploring Buddhism: One Source, Many Traditions. We will learn how Buddhist manuscripts reflect the rich variety of Buddhist traditions that have developed across cultures and time.

How Buddha’s teachings have been adapted to different cultures and across time, whilst remaining true to their origins
We will be joined by Keith Munnings, who has been involved with Buddhist practice and study since he first encountered meditation in a class at the University of Manchester in the seventies.
For the past ten years Keith has developed and run a Buddhist Library in a meditation centre in Chorlton which now has a stock of some 8000 books. Keith has also spent time in a number of Buddhist countries including teaching meditation in Sri Lanka.
