Join us on Thursday 10th September, 3pm-6pm at Manchester Central Hall for the Commission on Interfaith Relations: UK Faith Groups and Global Conflicts Manchester Consultation.

This session will focus on media mis- and disinformation, including the impact of media narratives on people of faith; the representation of global conflicts in traditional media and on social media; how these narratives are experienced by all (older, younger people of faith, people from different sectors); and the ways in which such representations are shaping interfaith and intra-faith dynamics locally.

The Commission on Interfaith Relations is an independent, national initiative assessing the state of interfaith relations in the UK, with a particular emphasis on how current and emerging conflicts overseas can become points of tension within the UK.
